5 out of 5 stars Give me back my sanity!!!!!   July 25, 2008

Bought this the other day for my 11 year old son (and me,when he's at school) great fun game if a little on the difficult side, but I've now got an 11 year old rock god living in my house, which as been turned into a jam pit when his mate comes round with his guitar and their both at it!The wireless guitar is notches above the old wired one and gives so much more freedom. Am now checking out al the previous versions of the game, Slash watch your back!

4 out of 5 stars Great addictive fun for awhile   June 24, 2008
Guitar hero is a great game but sadly the game makers have gone for more radio friendly songs which the game was supposed for classic rock and metal. There are some awesome songs here like Slayer - Raining blood(glad they put them in), Iron Maiden - The Number OF the beast(also glad about that), Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Metallica - One(glad about that too), Santana - Black Magic Woman, Poison - Talk Dirty To Me etc. All the tracks are really good some i'm not too keen on and why is killers? they are hardly called music. The game is brilliant for awhile and really addictive but once you finish it it gets boring. Also it is really expensive. So wortha buy i suppose if you're new to this game and a metal/rock fan like me buy the earlier games i havnt tried them but the have a better soundtrack. Great game

I was in two minds whether or not to buy this game, and as i dont play the guitar, i wasnt sure if it was for me. However, after having only recieved the game yesterday, i have already completed it on easy and am now working my way through the medium setting! My hands hurt, my wrists ache and my fingers feel like they're about to fall off - but it is all so worth it because this game is brilliant. Its a simple concept but is totally addictive to play. Even when you have completed the songs, they're great to go back and play again and again because they're, mostly, all great songs.

So I strongly recommened anyone who, like me, was in two minds about buying this game. Buy it now while the price is low and play it til your fingers feel like they're going to fall off!

Fortunately, I didn't buy this game but played it at a mates. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Went outside to watch his missus gardening shortly afterwards. That's how addictive I thought this game was.

My advice to anyone is to play the game first before buying it.
