stick with wires ! January 3, 2009 Ordered two and only one would link with the wiimote. Amazon were excellent in replacing it exremely quickly BUT the replacement will not sync/link either. My advice is avoid this product and stick with a wired nunchuk. Wired ones may be slightly restrictive but they always work.
VERY DISAPPOINTING December 8, 2008 Worked intermittently for a couple of hours then gave up altogether. It will still sync with the remote but only for a few seconds. I'll be returning it to Amazon and reverting to the original, wires and all.
Free yourself from the wires!! August 3, 2008 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a superb item! I have long arms and the Nintendo Wiimote/Nunchuk cord was always too short for my arm flailing! This is perfect as it completely removes the wire and works just as effectively. The Nunchuk stick is the same quality as Nintendo's and just as sensitive. The actualy Nunchuk has a better feel to it, as it weighs slightly more because of the batteries and its also slightly bigger, so makes it easier for bigger hands to hold. It was so good I bought 4!!
Not good enough July 2, 2008 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
Same as J.A.Walsh said, the accelerometer is not up to scratch and really has a problem registering your shakes. My 100M times on Mario & Sonic were nearly a second slower than with the official wired nunchuk. Playing Pro Evo is really frustrating is you need to shake the nunchuk to shoot, to slide tackle and to head the ball. Not worth it unless you like being angry.
To be fair, it does seem to work fine on games where you aren't required to shake it. For my money though, that kind of defeats the point of it as the fact it's wireless is most useful when you're waving the controllers around like a madman.
2nd one works well at least it did for a bit June 29, 2008 5 out of 8 found this review helpful
The first one ordered did not link, blue lights flashed but no more progress. This was returned (the first item I have ever returned to Amazon and the returns service was superb)
The second wireless nunchuck performs exactly as the hard wired one without tangling up with wires. Linked first time on plugging in to the main controller.
If I have a critisism it is the sensitivity of the buttons, not during play, but it is easy to touch a button when putting the nunchuck away and the blue light keeps flashing until it turns itself off. Not a great inconvienience but will probably reduce battery life. Yes I know I can press the on off switch for 4 seconds but this does not help if you do not notice.
Now does not work, links ok, although this worked initially it now does not respond at all. I am sure there are some good ones from other reviews but I have not been lucky.
Would also give Amazon 5 stars for service.
