Robert Ludlum's best-selling spy novels and blockbuster film adaptations have thrilled millions. Now for the first time, become Jason Bourne, Ludlum's most famous spy, in an original videogame that takes you deeper than ever before into his world of action and espionage. When curious fishermen pull your body from Mediterranean Sea you have little clue of how you got there or even who you are. A hidden Swiss bank account number leads you to Zurich where you soon discover that not only does somebody want you dead, but you're armed with a mysterious mastery of martial arts and marksmanship to fight back. Firearms, melee weapons, advanced fight techniques and even your surroundings are all at your disposal to weaponise, as you neutralise threats in a seamless blend of infiltration, shooting and hand-to-hand combat. Go deep into the Bourne canon as you hunt down the truth behind your fragmented past and turn the tables on the government agency that made you their number one target. You are Bourne - hunted, driven and deadly.

OK December 15, 2008 This game does not stand out as the best game on PS3 yet at it it's best moments, it takes you back to the old bond games. the single player is good after the first couple of levels. the hand to hand combat is also relistic but it takes a little too long to kill your opponent. i was just getting into the game when it finished. i was starting to think it was really good and then it went. this game would probably be really good with multiplayer and in my opinion, the manufacturers have made a big mistake not putting it in. i would not pay more then 25 for this game and i got it on amazon for a tenner! Overall, it's OK but not wonderful.
Why Didnt I buy BFBC??? July 31, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really cant believe I bought this instead of Battlefield Bad Company.
As a game I s'pose it isnt that bad, but after months of playing solid Assassin's Creed and CoD4, I was expecting something better.
First off, its way too linear. After playing Assassins Creed, you do feel let down when you cant just look at something and think "Im climbing that, then jumping off it". But I wasnt expecting the full sandbox experience, but the fact that whilst playing the game I feel I have no choice as to where I move is disappointing, you cant climb boxes or hug walls(by choice). The game I found this most like is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, but everything that Uncharted does right, this does wrong. I feel I'm having to waste uneeded amounts of bullets to kill people, the cover system is utter balls. The enviroments are dull, and the amount of enemies is unrealistic.
I was expectng Uncharted/Splinter Cell.I (naively) presumed that a game like this would have an element of stealth, but it doesnt. You cant sneak up properly like in Splinter cell, and I find the fighting and shooting repetive, and all there is to the game.
Plus, there are boss fights. Why?! I thought consoles had moved on from them? Apparently not.
So in the end, this game leaves me feeling sick in the mouth, thinking of the money I wasted on it.
I liked it! July 29, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
5.0 out of 5 stars I liked it!, 29 Jul 2008 By Mr. D. Joseph "usrpguk" (UK) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME) Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars After reading some of the 1 star reviews on here, I thought I would give my views on this game.
I liked it very much. I have never really played this type of game (have never really enjoyed playing GTA), but I thought I would give it a go. I am the type of person who will put a game down after a couple of hours if I really dont like it, but not this one. I was very entertained all the way through to the end.
The Bourne series of movies are some of my favourites, so I just had to give the game a try. I loved every action-packed minute of the gameplay.
I may just give GTA 4 a try now!
Anyone who enjoyed the Bourne movies should definately like this game.
So Close July 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Bourne Conspiracy is so, so close to being a really great game, instead of just a good one.
The over the shoulder/cover system these days is starting to replace the first person shooter view, and like with FPS's it's getting harder to make a good one. But, Bourne manages by breaking up the shooting with a fairly tight hand to hand combat system. Dark Sector would have killed for a system like this. Although no Metal Gear Solid, you can stealth about the levels and take people out on the quiet, however it doesn't take much for you to get seen by someone.
Possibly the best thing about it is how satisfying the game is. The take downs in mid combat are a lot of fun and you can get quite creative positioning yourself next to objects to see how Jason will use it.
So the game play is solid and a lot of fun, why only 3 stars? The story is so poorly told with tiny snippets of cut-scene just enough to keep the game moving. Maybe i was spoiled with MGS4's story telling, but it would have nice if they'd put a little more effort into it. The result is a really disappointing ending. Maybe they assumed you'd already seen the movie.
All in all, if you don't care why you're playing then this is a really great game although a little on the short side. For everyone else its certainly worth at least renting it.
Yes and No. July 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Having just finished this game I want to make a few things clear before I go into the main review.
1) People shouldn't base their review solely on the demo. Quite often the demos released are rushed and don't represent the actual game content.
2) I can't believe I've read a few reviews that say the graphics on this game are rubbish. They are visually stunning, especially when you hook it up to HDMI.
Right first and foremost, it's WAY too short. I was actually taken aback when the screen saying I'd completed it popped up.
Secondly, it's not Matt Damon, but so what? I like the character and think it looks good. At least Marie looks a tad like Franka Potente, if that is a saving grace.
Thirdly, the driving level is reallly good, I enjoyed it and I think it was very important to have it in the game as it is so integral to the book and movie.
So overall, I really rate this game. It was very fun, very infuriating too but I think that that is good. But it is too short. Had they done the whole trilogy within the one game I'd have been happier but nevertheless it is worth the price.
