Good fun October 23, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Waited for this to come down in price as was a bit unsure. As a big Simpsons fan, was hoping this would be good. I am not a fan of ladders and levels either, so this had to do a lot to convince me. In the end, I am enjoying this. The good points are the characters with real voices, the depth of the game and a lot of the thought gone into it (with loads of cliche's and references to former episodes). However I am suprised how difficult some of these levels are, especially as aimed at kids. The bad points are the camera can get annoying and stuck at certain points, and sometimes for some reasons the graphics change to look like a child drew them. Considering that most of the game is crystal clear, this suprises me quite a lot. All in all, worth a purchase at the new price. 4 stars at the new price, 3 at full price :-)

Fun, but too short and hardly next-gen March 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Let me be blunt - this is not really a PS3 game; it's a PS2 game with better resolution. This shows up particularly when you swap characters in the main Springfield hub, the whole level reloads and does so off the disc. The hard-drive remains untouched seemingly even for caching of the current level and so you sit twiddling your thumbs watching the loading screen. It really puts you off changing characters or restarting a level.
The camera too can be problematic, swinging around mid-jump or resetting itself while you're manipulating it and trying to move at the same time.
But for all its faults it's still fun; the between level movies retain the humour of the show and the in-game comments don't become too repetitive. It's just fun roaming around these levels, with only the occasional frustration of trying to get from A to B when the camera changes or you're not exactly sure which way you're going to be moving.
Still the main game is too short, even with hunting down the optional extras and playing the time challenges. Once you've finished it and unlocked all the content just treat it as something to dip in and out of and you won't be that disappointed.
Too easy February 28, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Its a great game and really fun but... It is sooo easy to complete and there are only 16 levels. I completed it in about nine days only playing about 1 hour a day !!!
Get a Wii for next to nothing- (B).(B).(C). approved January 24, 2008 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
Here is your chance to get a Wii for virtually pennies. I'm not joking either, the (B).(B).(C). and the Times newspaper have verified this in various articles and exposes. Don't delay and get a Wii for yourself.
Here is the easy guide:
1. Go to this site
Wii.(g)iftuniverse(.)c(o)(.)u(k) < remove the brackets
Simply then register for (c)oral (b)etting which is just 5.
As you see these companies are reputable, and its well worth a go to see if you can get yourself something this
good for next to nothing. Don't miss out!
